genesis 3:24

Photographic Series

This series explores the cruising experience rather than attempting to document it. This experience is found in the duality of two extreme positions; on the one hand, the search for absolute pleasure, on the other, moral judgment. It is about the permanent conflict between nature and culture, the individual and the social, brutality and poetry. The simultaneity of these contradictions finally leads to the acquittal of this conflict.

The yearning to return to the Garden of Eden corresponds to the attempt to establish closeness with other people through sexuality and physical contact.

He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
